On August 13, 2008, the 4-C building located at 5 Odana Court in Madison, WI was destroyed in a fire. The fire resulted in a total loss of the building, which was owned by 4-C. While the 4-C building was insured, the intent of the insurance policy is to ensure that the agency is repaired to the point it was prior to the fire. After researching the costs involved in purchasing another building or renting another space, it has been determined that rebuilding at the same location is the most economical way to house 4-C and its services. A successful capital campaign will allow the agency to focus its resources on delivering services to the community rather than financing a mortgage.
